Kamakura is a Japanese cafe that provides various Japanese, Western, and fusion foods, such as pasta, omelet rice, pizza, hamburger steak, salad, side dishes, desserts, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We could find Japanese dining in here, too. The place has both of the outdoor and indoor area. It is comfortable to dine in while also hanging out or even working from cafe For the overall taste, it was more into light, yet fresh for the seafood that they served on the pasta and less oily. I tried the Matcha Parfait for dessert. To be honest, it was overly sweet to me, with so much whipped cream and Marie biscuits. Actually, I do like Marie biscuits, but if there's too much, I get saturated For the alcoholic drink, I tried one of the recommendations, which was the Lemon Kuen San Sour. It's their homemade refreshing drink with a light taste of alcohol. Their Margherita Pizza is good and recommended It's great to have this flatbread pizza for sharing!

Had a wonderful time and great drinks and dessert at its melawai branch. The food is great too, especially the curry and omurice. My favorite is their cheesecake and parfait!

It's a small cozy Japanese cafe with very nice hamburg in Blok M area. We had lunch there and tried the Chicken Karaage, Cheese Hamburg and Curry Rice. We love the hamburg & kaarage. The Cheese Hamburg was very juice and the demiglace sauce was on point. The kaarage was very crunchy, yet juice inside. However, the Curry Rice was a bit too mild for me. We will go back for the hamburg, and I would like to try the omurice too.

We enjoyed our lunch here. During our visit, there were no other customers, so it was quite. The ambiance was moderately warm, with yellowish light and wide, soft seats. I only ordered their pumpkin pudding, which was incredibly tasty. I loved the texture, and the ice cream helped to balance the sweetness. Personally, I rarely eat overly sugary desserts, so I recommend it to those who are fans. My friend's main dish was decent; I couldn't describe it, but I liked the chicken karaage! It wasn't heavily seasoned, but that was understandable.

It's recommended by Japanese community in Instagram so I expected more.Taste is acceptable, but not so special. The hamburg is ok, but the veggies on the side were not fresh. The omurice taste is actually good, but the rice is cold inside, means it's not freshly prepared. At least they can do better job warming it up. Price is ok.

Since I develop a new habit of watching Japanese cuisine, I couldn’t rule karaage out of my mind. This place fortunately sells authentic chicken karaage I didn’t found anywhere else. Why did I say so? Because the breading really close to the authentic chicken karaage in Japan. It’s crispy but still has juicy meat. It shows that the cooking process at least embed how it supposes to be. Oh also they are so royal in giving us meat portion. The karaage is not just thick in breading but the actual meat is a lot! Although it is a Japanese cafe, it’s more like western Japanese cafe because it sells: pasta, omurice, hamburg steak, and etc. So do not expect a home-made Japanese dish like: sushi, ramen, or miso soup. For its pasta, I tried the tomato pasta either creamy and not creamy. I think the creamy tomato pasta tastes so much better and when you dip the karaage to the sauce, wow! A new world is discovered. Pretty a good place to stay long and converse with friends since it’s so cosy and the server never bothers you. It’s a hidden gem loved by locals (Japanese) expat. They accept cashless payment and they probably not halal since it serves boost.
